Announcing the Kerio Cloud Solution Program

Today I'm excited to announce the launch of the Kerio Cloud Solution Program. We're making Kerio Connect Cloud, the cloud-hosted version of our award winning Kerio Connect email server software, available globally to our resellers.

Kerio has partnered with five companies that have deep expertise in offering scaled and reliable cloud infrastructure to power our Kerio Connect Cloud service. We are excited to be working together with our existing partners BIT, GetSync'd, OnePointSync, PostmanMojo, and uSync as our charter Kerio Cloud Solution Distributors (KCSD).

When we announced our Kerio-hosted version of the Kerio Connect Cloud service in 2013, we were very pleased with the tremendous response from our reseller partners and end customers in North America. Today there are tens of thousands of end user customers using Kerio Connect Cloud services provided by our resellers. Some partners are reselling Kerio Connect self-hosted in their own cloud, utilizing our Kerio Connect SaaS license. Other resellers are reselling Kerio Connect from the Kerio-hosted Connect in the Cloud infrastructure.

While many of our resellers see an increasing opportunity to sell Kerio Connect Cloud, especially as competitive products evangelize the market, many have also told us they don't want to self-host. So when Kerio considered how to expand the scale and geographic footprint of the Connect in the Cloud program quickly, we realized that the best answer was within our partner community. We picked our top partners with expertise in cloud infrastructure and scaled hosting of Kerio Connect and made them our extended global infrastructure for Kerio Connect Cloud. And for our partners that wish to self-host Kerio Connect, the SaaS license program will remain in place.

The Kerio Cloud Solution Program quickly expands our global footprint for Kerio Connect Cloud to meet the growing demand in more markets.

You can learn more about the KCSDs here.

There are three important points behind today's announcement I'd like to highlight:

  1. Cloud Provider Options - Our resellers previously could only purchase Kerio Connect Cloud services from Kerio and use Kerio's cloud hosting infrastructure or self-host with the Kerio Connect SaaS license. As of today, they have the choice of buying from five different well-qualified cloud solution providers or self-hosting. Resellers can choose to buy from the KCSD whose combination of services, support and infrastructure best meets their needs.
  2. Scale - Kerio Connect Cloud's infrastructure footprint, thanks to the collective power of our KCSDs, has just increased by a factor of 10. From a single data center in the U.S. to multiple data centers across the U.S., Europe and Australia, we've dramatically increased the power behind Kerio Connect Cloud.
  3. While the cloud is certainly transforming the delivery of IT services, it isn't the right solution for every reseller, every market, or every end customer. Which is why we're very proud of our on-going commitment to provide numerous on-premises versions, SaaS self-hosting as well as multiple hosted cloud offerings, of Kerio Connect. Find out more here.
